Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa by taking train or airplane
Lhasa airport or Train station pick-up by our local English-speaking tour guide and private van, then, transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own.

Day 2: Lhasa (B)
Full day Lhasa city tour to Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street

Hotel pick-up in the morning, spend the morning in Potala Palace and explore the mythical halls, exhibition chambers, and figures of the Buddha.

In the afternoon, touring to the holy temple of Johkang, which was built during Tibet King Songtsen Ganpo’s time about 1300 years ago.

The circular pilgrim street around Jokhang Temple called Barkhor. The Barkhor street market is the ideal place to buy traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and traditional Tibetan clothes.

Day 3: Lhasa (B)
Full day tour to Drepung Monastery, Tibet Museum, and Sera Monastery

Drepung Monastery was founded in 1416. It was the place for Tibet central government during fifth Dalai Lama’s time. Later on, we can also visit the Nechung monastery which located 1km southeast of Drepung. Nechung is the abode of the protector deity Pehar and the seat of the state Oracle of Tibet.

In the afternoon, we will visit Tibet History Museum. Around 3:00pm, we will visit Sera Monastery for observing monks debating practices.

Day 4: Lhasa to Yamdok Lake to Lhasa (B)
Today, we will drive from Lhasa to Gyantse. On the way, the group will pass over the Gampala pass (4790 m),and tourists will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso Lake (4400m) .The Lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountain and in the distance you have spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar (7191m), the highest mountain near Lhasa.

Then we will drive downhill to the lake and enjoy the free walk at the lake shore before heading back to Lhasa.
