Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel for check
in. The rest of the day is free for your own exploration. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh
Yoru breakfast is arranged at your hotel. Our guide will come to your hotel to pict up you, then drive to Cu Chi Tunnels (created in1948 to assist Viet Minh in their combat with the French). It is an underground
city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. It could house up to 10,000 people virtually live underground for years. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated as a free fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels were opened to visitors. Have lunch at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office. In Dong Khoi, you will see the Opera House and the Peoples’ Committee building built in 1897 by French architect Ferret Eugene. Continue to visit The Reunification Palace (Ex-Presidential Palace) which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Drop

Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre – Ho Chi Minh (B,L)
Pick you up at hotel at 8:30am and transfer to Ben Tre. Arriving in Hung Vuong Pier (Ben The
town), take a boat on Ben Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river. Stop at brickwork to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking, visit coconut processing workshops.
Take a bicycle-cart on the village paths, stop at farmer house for lunch. Continue walking in sleepmats
village and then back to Hung Vuong Pier. We return to Ho Chi Minh, along the way we will see the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda. Drop off at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh
Take a morning flight to Danang. Transfer to hotel in Hoian. In the afternoon, explore Hoian town including the Japanese Covered Bridge-the symbol of Hoian; Chinese street of stunning Phuc Kien Hall and Phung Hung old house with typical Hoian original architecture. We then visit Hoi An vibrant market and ancient port to explore the rythm of local daily life. Finally, we visit Phuc Thanh Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hoi An built in1454 with Chinese bonze. After breakfast, drive to Hue. Along the way, visit the Danang Beach and Da nang City for Cham Museum. We then follow the road crossing over the scenic Hai Van Pass before arriving in Hue, Vietnam’s last imperial capital. In the afternoon, visit the Imperial City – the remaining vestiges of Hue Citadel, inlcuding : Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh). We then take a walk to the bustling Dong Ba Market where you will have a chance to sample some local delicacies. Overnight at the hotel in
Breakfast at hotel , then take a boat trip along the poetic Perfume River. We will make a stop and visit the iconic Thien Mu pagoda (Heavenly Lady pagoda), the symbol of Hue, and then to Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc – which was built between 1864 to 1867 by 3000 soldiers and workers. It includes 50 monuments surrounded by a 1500m long wall. Have lunch at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will take a short flight to Hanoi. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi
Today we will visit Ho Chi Minh Complex which comprises of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Mondays & Fridays), his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Then visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 to worship
Confucius and served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam. Lunch at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, tour to Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays, History Museum alternative). The museum’s display continues on to the outside garden with traditional houses from the Kinh’s to the ones of the ethnic groups in Central Highlands. Afterward, head to Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy Water Puppet Show. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi
In the mroning, we will travel to the ‘Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam’, Halong Bay. Board a junk boat
for a relaxing cruise through the emerald waters and around the limestone islets of the Gulf of Tonkin.
