The Mt. Everest tour package is a 7-day tour of Tibet. The tour begins in Lhasa with visits to Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, and Barkhor Street. On day 3, we will drive to Gyangtze and visit a Tibetan family and Baiju Monastery on the way. Day 4 takes us to Tingri, the nearest town to Mt. Everest. On day 5, we will drive to the Everest Base Camp and visit Rongbu Monastery before returning to Shigatse for the night. On day 6, we will drive back to Lhasa, enjoying the natural view of the Tibet plateau and Yalutsangpo River Valley. The tour concludes on day 7 with a transfer to Lhasa airport or train station.
Upon arrival at Lhasa Gongga airport or train station, our representative will greet you and transfer you to our hotel in Lhasa, Tibet. We will take a good rest for the breathtaking tour in Tibet. (D)
Today we will visit Jokhang Temple, one of the oldest temples at the heart of Lhasa. Afterwards, we will visit Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibetan history and culture. Potala was the winter palace of the Dalai Lama, which was originally built in the 7th century by the King Songtsen Gampo and rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. Later we will wander on Barkhor Street for experiencing the lifestyle of Tibetan people. Tibetan art and traditional work are outlet for sale on this street. (B, L, D)
Today we will drive to Gyangtze. On the way we will enjoy the view of Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and Kalais Kora Glacier. The lake lies several hundred meters below the road. We also will visit a Tibetan family and Baiju Monastery. Arrive in Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet, in the evening. (B, L, D)
This morning we will visit Tashilumpo Monastery. Then continue our journey to Tingri, the nearest town to Mt. Everest. Overnight here to prepare our exciting trip to see the highest mountain in the world. (B, L, D)
Today we will drive to the Everest Base Camp. We will experience a breathtaking view of the highest Mt. Everest. Afterwords, we will visit Rongbu Monstery. Later we will drive to Shigatse for the night. (B, L, D)
Today after visiting Tashilumpo Monastery in Shitase ,we drive all the way to Lhasa . We will enjoy the endless natural view of Tibet plateau and Yalutsangpo River Valley, We will arrive in Lhasa in the evening. (B, L, D)
