Arrive in Beijing International Airport. Our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to our hotel. Visit Summer Palace and Pearl Factory this afternoon if time is available. (D)

Today we will visit Jokhang Temple, one of the oldest temples at the heart of
Lhasa. Afterward, visit Sera Monastery, where we observe a Tibetan philosophy
debate. Later we will wander on Barkor Street to experience the lifestyle of Tibet. Tibetan art
and traditional work are outlets for sale on this street. Enjoy Tibetan dancing and singing show for evening entertainment. (AB, L, D)
Potala, the symbol of Tibetan history and culture, was the winter palace of the Dalai Lama, which was originally built in the 7th century by King Songtsen Gampo and rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. After the Potala tour, we will visit Norbu Linka (summer palace) and Tibetan Museum. (AB, L, D)

We will visit Yu Yuan Garden, Old Shanghai District, Pearl TV Tower, Nanjing Road, and Bund. Afterward, take a Shanghai harbor cruise to highlight the evening. (AB, L, D)
Today will be free for you to explore Shanghai, the financial center of China on your own. You may visit the Shanghai museum or do some shopping. (AB)
