Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Lhasa — Acclimatization Day

Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport (3,570m). Our guide will meet you and transfer you to your 5-star hotel in Lhasa (3,656m). Rest and acclimatize to the altitude. Oxygen is available in your room. In the evening, enjoy a welcome orientation with your guide. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Lhasa.

Day 2

Potala Palace & Barkhor Street

Morning visit to the iconic Potala Palace — the historic winter palace of the Dalai Lama, rising 13 stories above the city. Afternoon exploration of the sacred Jokhang Temple, the most revered religious site in Tibet, followed by a walk around the vibrant Barkhor Street — a traditional Tibetan market and pilgrimage circuit. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Lhasa.

Day 3

Drepung Monastery & Sera Monastery

Visit Drepung Monastery, once the largest monastery in the world and home to thousands of monks. In the afternoon, explore Sera Monastery, famous for its lively monk debates that take place in the courtyard every afternoon. Overnight: 5-star hotel, Lhasa.

Day 4

Norbulingka Park — Departure

Morning visit to Norbulingka, the beautiful summer palace of the Dalai Lama set in a magnificent garden. After lunch, transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport for your departure flight. Tour concludes.
